In 2010, Smookboards originated from the intense need to create custom directional  kite surfboards  that ride like a real surf board, being light, strong and responsive. 

With his new found passion for kite surfing in waves, Jeff partnered up

with Andrew, a surf board shaper from Mornington Peninsula who has been shaping for the last 45 years.  Jeff and Andrew, both extremely passionate

about design and pursuit for quality and performance, researched and tested

materials to produce a high performance kite/surf boards.
